Hi to all,just wondering if anyone out there apart from myself was born in Armley.My birthplace was 58 Heights Drive,Armley back in 1961.This was my maternal Grandparents home,their names being Albert and Lavinia[Vinnie]Edwards,both since deceased.I spent many a happy day on that street and surrounds,and remember vividly the Gaol,the Mainline Club and a walk we used to take to our house on the Wyther estate through a long arched railway tunnel then through a graveyard whose name escapes me.Anyone know it ?Gotts Park is also much there in my memories as is the nearby canal[Leeds/Liverpool ?]Anyhow I moved here to Australia as a 9 year old back in 1970,so if anyone has any info etc,I'd love to hear it.PAUL NICHOLSON,SYDNEY,AUSTRALIA[SON OF GEORGE/CLARE NICHOLSON]
