Asterix & Obelix XXL is an action adventure video game released in 2004. It is based on the French comic book series Asterix, about the Gaulish warrior Asterix in the year 50BC, as he battles the Romans. The game was released in America (though only on the Playstation 2) under the name "Asterix & Obelix: Kick Buttix". The story takes place in "The Great Map", which is a variation of Europe. The villagers of Gaul are captured and spread across Europe, prompting the two(four, if you count Dogmatix and the treacherous Roman spy)heroes to look for them.
