I believe that the remarks about the illegality of sports scholarships in the United Kingdom are mistaken. Bath University offers a sports scholarship and claims on its website to have done so for the last 25 years. http://www.bath.ac.uk/health/undergraduate/sportsf.html

I agree. Scotland is the same Stirling Uni, amongst others offers sports scholarships. http://www.quality.stir.ac.uk/ac-policy/Sport.php
