[edit] Redlight Cameras
It should probably be noted that Auburn, WA is apparently the first (or one of the first) cities in WA state to activate digital video red-light camera enforcement permitted by a recent state law. I also remember reading something about it in the "Auburn Reporter" magazine several months ago that the city seemed to prefer installing the cameras (basically free) rather than spending the money to time the lights on Auburn Way South to reduce congestion and increase traffic flow. Does anyone still have a copy of that article?
i think I burned that last Christmas, but it might be on Proquest.com Premium service.

Retard, I mean the percentage of people who live in the main city area, and dont say it's 100% suburb to me, because I live there. There are houses in there, but i didn't want to count and I couldn't find an online source.
Without any name-calling: Many people now consider Auburn a suburb of Seattle, and would classify all of Auburn's population as suburban. But Auburn clearly fails to meet the usual definitions of a suburb, it was founded as its own town long before Seattle *had* suburbs. Auburn's suburbs have grown into Kent's suburbs and both have grown into Seattle's suburbs, but clearly downtown Auburn is not a suburb of Seattle either historically or functionally. That said, I don't know a reliable source for differentiating the populations of downtown Auburn vs. suburban Auburn. Possibly the Auburn Downtown Association would have an idea?
