[edit] Prominent Anglican?

I've removed this cat as it seemed extremely anachronistic, yes the church of Enlgand and wider Anglicanism sees continuity with the pre-Reformation church in England and he was the first Archbishop of Canterbury, but I don't think it's meaningful to label him an Anglican in any currently understod form of the term. You're right. I was on automatic pilot when I added that category because he's mentioned in other Anglicanism-related articles. InkQuill 18:11, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bretwalda

Calling Ethelbert "Bretwalda" seems a bit anachronistic if not downright historially incorrect, as the article on Bretwalda itself states. I've removed the reference, since it is unhelpful.
