Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) is a peak body for project management in Australia.

Formed in 1976 as the Project Managers' Forum, AIPM has been instrumental in progressing the profession of project management in Australia over the past 30 years.
The AIPM’s role is to improve the knowledge, skills and competence of project team members, project managers and project directors, all of whom play a key role in the achievement of business objectives, not just project objectives. AIPM also aims to ensure that those involved at other levels in an organisation and the community understand the key role of project management in today's society.

The goals of the AIPM are:
- to increase the awareness of project management as a profession
- to progress the globalisation of project management
- to recognise excellence in project management
- to promote competency-based assessment for those working in project management
- to grow our membership
- to promote AIPM as the peak body for project management in Australia

AIPM has chapters in every Australian state and territory, with a National Support Office in Sydney.

- RegPM Project Manager Certification Program - Competency based assessment program
- Project Managed Organisation (PMO) accreditation program
- National Conference, held in a different State/Territory every year
- National Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA), recognising project excellence
- Information Resource Centre (IRC) - research, document supply, and member-only resources
- Endorsed Project Management Courses, available across Australia
- Employment Services - Jobs Available, Looking for Work, and Endorsed Recruitment
- Events Calendar with Chapter and Alliance Partner Events, for education and networking
