A autonomous region (S.Chinese:自治区 or T.Chinese:自治區,Pinyin:zīzhì qǜ) is the first-level administrative subdivision of China, it has their own local government as the other Chinese Provinces, but a autonomous region has more rights on legislation. It is a minority entity and has more populous of minority, There are five autonomous regions in China, Tibetan in Tibet ranks the first of the population in the region andZhuang in Guangxi, Uyghur in Xinjiang, Mongols in Inner Mongolia, Hui in Ningxia rank the second of population in the other four ones.
