Bagasara is a city and a municipality in Amreli district in the state of Gujarat, India.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Bagasara had a population of 31,789. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Bagasara has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 56% of the males and 44% of females literate. 12% of the population is under 6 years of age. Its history shows that in the olden days, it was known as a Pith meaning a big trading centre. It was famous for Gold Plated Jewellery. It has given to the world two great personalities. One, National Poet Zaverchand Meghani, and Two, international Magician K.Lal.
