The communauté de communes Intercom Balleroy le Molay Littry covers 22 communes: Balleroy, La Bazoque, Le Breuil-en-Bessin, Cahagnolles, Castillon, Cormolain, Foulognes, Litteau, Le Molay-Littry, Montfiquet, Noron-la-Poterie, Planquery, Sainte-Honorine-de-Ducy, Sainte-Marguerite-d'Elle, Saint-Paul-du-Vernay, Sallen, Saon, Saonnet, Tournières, Le Tronquay, Trungy et Vaubadon.
Balleroy is the chief town of the canton of Balleroy, which is made up of 22 communes.

Each year a gathering of hot air balloon took place at the Chateau de Balleroy, the work of François Mansart. This gathering took place for the last time in 1998, when Malcolm Forbes, the chateau's owner, would have celebrated his 80th birthday.
