Barbara Bryne

Barbara Bryne is a stage and film actress, who occasionally is seen on television. She has appeared in comedy, dramatic and musical productions.
In 1982, She was nominated Drama Desk Award Outstanding Actress in a Drama for her role as "Kath" in the first American production of Entertaining Mr. Sloane (which also starred Maxwell Caulfield in the title role, and the late Irish actor, Joseph Maher).
She also peformed Stephen Sondheim musicals and she was in the original cast of Sunday in the Park with George (as George's mother), Into The Woods (as Jack's mother), and also performed A Little Night Music in Washington D.C.
Bryne was a frequent performer at Minneapolis's Guthrie Theater in the 1970's.
