[edit] Straw Poll on Results Summaries table

This is a straw poll to gauge opinion on the style of results summaries table, which whether to use the current revision or this revision

To add some more clarity to the purpose of this poll: I maintain that the "width=100%" specification for the results table causes the table to stretch on widescreen displays and results in a terrible rendering. If this HTML phrase is removed, the table renders nicely on both 4:3 and 16:10 aspect ratios, which should be satisfactory to everybody. User:Aleenf1 refuses to accept this improvement for reasons unknown (except perhaps that it is not "common" with some non-Olympic pages).

The other point, which User:Aleenf1 omitted from the poll, is that I believe the "font=90%" specification is unnecessary, and causes legibility issues. As per WP:MOS#Formatting issues, the use of an alternate font size is not recommended (only "if you absolutely must") because of consistency and usability reasons.

Therefore, a better version to base your opinion is this one. Andrwsc 16:25, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
