Battlefield (video game series)

The Battlefield franchise is a series of computer and console games that started with the PC/Mac game Battlefield 1942, the series is developed by Digital Illusions CE, and published by Electronic Arts. The games feature a focus on large maps and vehicle warfare over and above traditional first person shooters. The main draw of the games are their online gameplay.

- Battlefield 2 - (PC), released June 21, 2005 (US only) and June 24, 2005.
- Special Forces (Expansion Pack), released November 22, 2005 (US only), and November 24, 2005
- Euro Force (Booster Pack), released March 14, 2006.
- Armored Fury (Booster Pack), released June 6, 2006.
- Battlefield 2: Modern Combat - (PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable), released October 24, 2005 (PS2/Xbox), May 11, 2006 (Xbox 360), and (PSP) release date TBA 2006.[1]
- Battlefield 2142 - (PC), was released 17 October 2006.
- Northern Strike (Booster Pack), released March 8, 2007.
- Battlefield: Bad Company - (Xbox 360, PS3, PlayStation Portable, PC), in development, with release in 2007.
