Bear Island (Lake Temagami)

Bear Island, Ontario, Canada is home to the Aboriginal community, the : Teme-Augama Anishnabai. The island is the largest in Lake Temagami, about 95 kilometers north of North Bay, Ontario. It is only a small portion of the Anishnabe's n'Daki Menan (homeland) which includes ten thousand square kilometers of land in the area.
