Beaver (text editor)

Beaver is an Early AdVanced EditoR, for Linux, Unix and Windows. It is licensed under the GNU GPL and intended to be lightweight. It contains features found to be useful in website editing and programming. It is based upon the GTK+ 2 widget toolkit, supports various programming languages through config files and offers functions such as automatic indentation, completion and correction, as well as syntax highlighting. It also has its own mini macro language.
Beaver has not been maintained since 2003, but has been revived as of November 2006. Check the project homepage for more details.
