Talk:Belmopan

I thought this was on the Mopan River, which is where the name Belmopan came from.

- Although there is a Mopan River in Belize, it doesn't reach this far east. It rises in Guatemala and ends near San Ignacio, where it joins with the Macal, forming the Old Belize River, a tributary of the Belize River. Merenta 17:54, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Is it the smallest capital city in the world? According to wikipedia Bridgetown the capital of Barbados only has 5,928 inhabitants. Which is correct? Isfisk 14:00, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- That's the Wikipedia population size I found there. Actually Bridgetown is closer to ~ 90,000 people but I'm waiting to get exact figures back on the population of Bridgetown before I post it.

[edit] Sources
Now that satisfactory sources have been introduced I will remove the no sources tag.--Aaronhumes 02:03, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks; I intended to do that after I had sourced every section, and I'm still working on the last few sections like Economy, Culture and the dreaded Social and community activities, but the tag at the top of the article as a whole is no longer accurate. ◄Zahakiel► 16:11, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
