Beverlei Brown is a singer that in 2007 singed a duet with Justin Hawkins in their "Making Your Mind Up" entry in hope of representing the UK in Eurovision Song Contest 2007. She was surrounded by controversy due to that fans said that if she had performed the entry alone, she would have won but Justin Hawkins didn't fit in. Her duet partner also accused the eventual winner, popband Scooch, of cheating by lip synching their song. He also claimed that they had four background singers that sang the whole song, and brought Beverlei with him even though it wasn't her opinion. She is now working on new material.
