Bida, Nigeria

Bida is a town in Nigeria and the second largest city in Niger State with an estimated population of 178,840 (2007). [1] It is located southwest of the capital of Niger State, Minna, and is a dry, arid town. The major ethnic group is the Nupe.
It is known for its durbar festival.
