Hello, I'm BillyH. I believe the first Wikipedia page I ever saw was Middlesex, England (which, incidentally, is where I live), when someone directed me there in a chatroom on 16 March 2003. (I still have the log, hence me knowing the exact date) I read it, shrugged, and got on with my life.
A while later (around January 2004ish) I found and read Sega Mega Drive and Floppy disk, whilst searching for information about them on Google. I continued to take no notice of the rest of the site until 3 March 2004, when I noticed an error on the ITV1 page which stated that ITV2 had started in 2000 rather than 1998. To my surprise, I realised that I could edit this page immediately, without having to register or anything like that. After editing it, I then noticed and corrected an error on the London Weekend Television page. After that, I noticed the little 'Log in' link at the top of the page, and the benefits of being a registered user. I duly did so, and my first edit under a proper username (instead of an IP Address) was to the Knightmare article. Note that the IP address I used on that day has been used by a number of other different people since then, and the only edits using it actually made by me were the two articles mentioned above and 'Pie-Face' (my first new article, since merged with Dennis the Menace (UK)) done when I forgot to log in the following morning. Since then I've made over 1750 edits, most of them being about British comics, although I did fix a lot of broken redirects and blanked pages from Special:Shortpages between 9-10 April 2004.
I think my proudest edit would have to be this one, to the Knightmare article. IMHO, it was a big improvement to the article on one of my favourite shows. I hit my 1000th edit on the 27 March 2005, when I created X-Ray Specs. Late the next month, I started to edit the 'Year in Television' pages quite a bit, which brings us up to today. Oh, and I became an administrator on 9 October 2005, not that it matters.
