Blade connector
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A blade connector is a type of single wire connection using a flat blade which is inserted into a receptacle. Often the blade is part of a component (such as a switch or a speaker unit) and the receptacle is attached to the wire although blades that attach to wires are also seen.
A common type of blade connector is the "faston". Faston connectors come in male and female types. They are commonly used since 1970s.
