I can't help noticing that the sprite at the top of the page (next to the words Black Mage) is actually the sprite for a warlock, not a black mage. It's possible this is a reference to the web-comic 8-Bit Theatre, where the character Black Mage has recently taken on this appearance. 40.0.40.10 06:44, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

Is it worth mentioning the Final Fantasy games that don't have Black Mages, and in each case how Black Magic is implemented (for example, the use of Materia in Final Fantasy VII)? ApocalypseCow 23:43, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Does Black Wizard show his face on GBA?
The article states, "This was changed in the WonderSwan remakes and Final Fantasy Origins so that he still looks like a 'proper' Black Mage after becoming a Black Wizard." No mention is made of Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls. If someone can answer this question, I think it would be an important clarification to make in the article.

Given that the wizards from the first Zelda are mentioned, despite appearing before the Black Mages, I think it's worth mentioning the similarities in design with He-Man's Orko. Kelvingreen 23:18, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Everyone always mentions Orko. I don't see the reason for it. It'd be like saying that Marvin the Martian bears a striking resemblance as well, just no yellow eyes. Besides, the blackened face of Orko, we all know he's really blue skinned, because of his ears and hands.
[edit] Black Magic Listing and proper Modifier
I have added a full in-depth listing of Black Magic, plus I reverted it back to a correct way to look. Please stop reverting it back to the incorrect way where it puts up false information.
