Blue Star Memorial Highway (Michigan)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Blue Star Memorial Highway in Michigan begins at the border with Indiana in Berrien County and extends north to the Straits of Mackinac at the county line of Emmet and Cheboygan counties. It follows the former route of U.S. Highway 31 before it was transferred to freeway.
The former route of U.S. Highway 2 between St. Ignace and Sault Ste. Marie was also designated as part of the Blue Star Memorial Highway. However, the state Department of Transportation web site does not list this segment as being part of the highway any longer.
