Brandon Paul League (born March 16, 1983 in Sacramento, California) is a pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays. He is married with a child.
League has a live arm, and a fastball that has reached 100 mph, but usually tops out at 97 mph. His fastball has a sinking motion to it. As well as his fastball, his repertoire contains a slider, and a recently developed change-up. In his first three seasons, he has been used as a relief pitcher. Brandon's arms are covered in tattoos, hence he is obligated by Major League Baseball rules to wear a long-sleeve shirt when he pitches.[citation needed]
League, who resides in Hawaii, is an avid surfer in the offseason.[citation needed]
