Brechfa
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brechfa [1]is a small[2] village[3] with a fascinating history[4] that has existed since the 6th century [5] . It is set in beautiful countryside [6] managed by the Forestry Commision [7] at the top of the Cothi Valley[8] in South-West Wales. As essential services are threatened[9], the church plays a vital role in sustaining the sense of belonging [10] -a determination that has lead to a co-operative being set up to run the village shop[11].In Spring 2007 the villagers' efforts were featured in an article in the Daily Telegraph Magazine[12].
