Brett Hauer

Brett Hauer (b. July 11, 1971 in Richfield, Minnesota) is a professional ice hockey defenceman, currently playing for Yaroslavl Lokomotiv in the Russian Super League. Hauer was selected in the fourth found of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, 71st overall, by the Vancouver Canucks. He has played for the Edmonton Oilers and Nashville Predators at the NHL level.
Hauer spent his amateur career with the University of Minnesota Duluth after a successful high school career, which saw him drafted by the Canucks. Despite NHL stints with Edmonton and Nashville, Hauer has spent most of his time in the minor leagues or in Europe.
