Brian Herbert's novels include Sidney's Comet, Prisoners of Arionn, Man of Two Worlds (written with his father), Sudanna Sudanna, as well as a biography of his father: Dreamer of Dune: The Biography of Frank Herbert. He has also edited The Songs of Muad'dib and the Notebooks of Frank Herbert's Dune, and has created a concordance for the Dune universe based on his father's notes. He has said in an interview that there are no immediate plans to publish the concordance. [1]
He is most famous for his collaboration with Kevin J. Anderson, with whom he has also written two trilogies of prequels (Prelude to Dune and Legends of Dune) to his father's landmark science fiction novel, Dune. These have all become New York Times best sellers.
The collaboration is intented to culminate with two Dune 7 sequels to Frank Herberts chronicles: Hunters of Dune and Sandworms of Dune, now scheduled for release. These are based on notes left behind by Frank Herbert, who composed an outline before his death.[2]
