Brian "Beano" McDonald is a Laois Gaelic footballer who won two All-Ireland Minor Football Championship medals in 1996 and 1997 and a Leinster Senior Football Championship medal in 2003. As a 15 year old he played in the 1995 Laois team beaten in the final of the Leinster Minor Football Championship after a second replay by Westmeath and was part of the 1998 team denied a three in a row by Tyrone.
He made a return after a long spell out of the game following a horrific broken leg suffered in Croke Park in 2004 in a game against Tyrone.
Brian plays for the Arles-Killeen club with whom he has won 3 Laois Intermediate Football Championship medals and in 2006 he inspired them to reach the Laois Senior Football Championship final where they were beaten by Ballyroan Gaels.
