[edit] Reruns
Episodes of all three seasons were shown for several years on Disney Channel, ending with a run of Season 3 during the year 2000. Bug Juice was subsequently pulled from the air and was not shown again until the summer of 2004, during which episodes from the first season ran nightly in chronological order. The last episode of Bug Juice aired August 20, 2004. It has not been shown since.
During the summer of 2006, Disney began posting minisodes on their website, encouraging viewers of the Disney Channel to log on and view 5-minute short clips from episodes of the first season. Also some episodes have been found on YouTube, mainly the first season.
Bug Juice was also broadcast in the UK on Channel 4's The Bigger Breakfast.
[edit] Trivia
- The show's success urged Disney Channel to pick up three more reality series to their lineup, Totally Hoops, Totally in Tune and another show called Totally Circus about a youth circus in New England called "Circus Smirkus".
- Brush Ranch Camps, the location for season three, has since closed its doors as a traditional summer camp. The camps still operate as rental facilities for schools and other groups. More information can be found on its website, below.
- Eve and Jen from the Brush Ranch season (season 3) were kicked out of the camp for "obtaining illegal materials". Disney Channel has never publicly stated what those materials were, but fans have speculated that they were either cigarettes or marijuana. Disney Channel has also not replayed this season of Bug Juice.
