Earl of Sefton Stakes

The Earl of Sefton Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for four-year-old and above thoroughbreds run over a distance of 1 mile 1 furlong (1,811 metres) at Newmarket's Rowley Mile course in mid April.
First run in 1971 the race was named after Hugh William Osbert Molyneux, 7th Earl of Sefton.
