Eglantina Zingg

Eglantina Zingg Puppio (born on April 22, 1981) is a Venezuelan model, and television host, who started her television career as a VJ for MTV Latin America.
Born in Caracas, Zingg is the youngest child and only daughter of Herman Zingg Reverón and Nieves Puppio González de Zingg.
Zingg was raised in Venezuela, but has lived in and travelled extensively in North America, South America and Europe and was educated at schools in Caracas, as well as studying for one year at the prestigious Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts.
After briefly attending university in the United States, Zingg started to model professionally, and was signed by several modelling agencies in the United States, South America and Europe. During this period, she made her mark on the fashion industry by gracing the pages of nationally and internationally known magazines, such as Elle, GQ, Marie Claire, Loft, and Vogue. In addition to her print work, Eglantina Zingg worked at fashion shows, or on advertising campaigns, for a host of designers or brands, including Nike, Levis, Mercedes Benz, Hugo Boss, Armani Exchange, Carolina Herrera, Roberto Cavalli and Richard Tyler
Eglantina Zingg's irreverent personality and charisma led her to MTV, where she was a VJ from 2003 until her departure in 2005. As the host of the popular daily L'Gueveo, Zingg interviewed musicians, actors, and personalities, and stirred countless audiences with her unique interviewing style. In addition to hosting L'Gueveo, MTV called on her to host major red-carpet events, including the MTV Music Video Awards Show and the MTV Latin American Music Video Awards Show. For most her tenure at MTV, Zingg was the sole VJ for the Latin American subsidiary of MTV International.
In addition to working as a VJ for MTV Latin America, Zingg was also involved with the charitable projects of MTV Latin America, including their AIDS awareness campaign.
Having had the privilege of being introduced to the environment and peoples of the Amazon region of Venezuela as a toddler, Zingg has a great love for the Amazon and its people, and has worked on philanthropic endeavours in that region.
Eglantina Zingg was recently signed for representation by ICM Models Limited, one of the top agencies in Europe.
At present Zingg splits her time between the US, Europe and South America studying a variety of subjects and pursing opportunities in the fashion and entertainment industries.
