[edit] Main characters
- Manny Rivera/El Tigre: A 13-year-old boy, son of a superhero, and grandson of a super villain; he wants to be good for his father, but being bad like Grandpapi Rivera he thinks is too much fun. When he spins his mystical belt buckle, Manny transforms into the brave and powerful El Tigre, who struggles with whether to use his superpowers for good or evil. His super hero name translates from Spanish to "The Tiger", which refers to his costume. His powers (so far known) are sense of smell and hearing on par with a tiger, sharp retractable claws that can cut through almost anything, being able to shoot out his hand like a grappling hook and super jumping ability like the Hulk. He often does bad things, but nearly always does good things to make up for it. When El Tigre is sad, his white fur goes down, or when he is shocked or surprised his fur is standing up sideways. Many consider him to be selfish and an antihero. El Tigre seems to have developed a crush on the villain Black Cuervo, even calling her mi amor (Spanish for "my love") , but seem to lose interest on her at the end of the episode, Enter the Cuervo (probably due to the fact that she was only spending time with him to get revenge on Frida).
- Rodolfo Rivera/White Pantera: The father of Manny Rivera/El Tigre and son of Grandpapi Rivera/Puma Loco. Pantera can refer to either a panther or to any big cat. Rodolfo is a good old-fashioned dad, complete with rules and orders that Manny doesn't always follow. He is semi-retired but has about as much trouble giving up being White Pantera as his father has giving up being Puma Loco. Rodolfo has a love-hate relationship with his father. Despite their differences and Grandpapi's desire to pull Manny over to the dark side, Rodolfo always puts his family first. His source of power is his Bronze Boots of Truth, which give him superhuman speed and strength and make anyone who touches the sole of the boots have to tell the truth.
- Granpapi Rivera/Puma Loco: The father of Rodolfo Rivera/White Pantera and grandfather of Manny Rivera/El Tigre who moved in with his son and and Grandson to help look after them after Manny's mom left (and because he crashed his evil blimp headquarters into a hamburger stand), Granpapi Rivera is a friendly old man who loves his grandson Manny very much, and is also a retired super villain who still enjoys cooking up trouble every now and then, especially if it means getting to spend time with Manny. His name means "Crazy Puma" in Spanish. Back in the old days, Grandpapi was one of the most feared villains that no one could catch (except his son White Pantera, of course). He wants Manny to follow in his footsteps even encouraging him to do bad things such as steal. Despite the fact he is really evil there are things even he won't do such as betray his family, and he always comes through when they're in danger, even though it'd be easier for him to pull off crimes without his son in the way. His source of power is the Golden Sombrero of Chaos, which is able to transform into a robotic suit, similar to how a Transformer (Optimus Prime for example) transforms, and can produce several different weapons such as claws, a giant drill, and even a small hot air balloon though the most commonly used are missiles without transforming.
- Frida Suarez: Frida Suarez is Manny's 12-year-old best friend who's not always a good influence on Manny. She believes superhero/super villain events and things don't matter and she is up for anything even if it gets them in trouble, which can be another problem because her father, Chief of Police Suarez. She also plays in a band called the Atomic Sombreros. Her arch rival is Zoe Aves\Black Cuervo.
[edit] Villains
- Maria Rivera: The mother of Manny Rivera/El Tigre and the ex-wife of Rodolfo Rivera/White Pantera, Maria hated the thought of her husband constantly risking his life being a hero, and since Rodolfo seemed unable to give up being White Pantera, Maria and Rodolfo divorced. Maria went on to take the world by storm as a Mariachi Singer, however, she has recently given up the life of fame and fortune to be closer to her son Manny, and moved back to Miracle City and is now the school librarian. Rodolfo believes he has a chance of winning her back, though considering why they broke up being his super heroics and his inability to stop being White Pantera it seems unlikely.
- Sartana of the Dead: The most evil and feared super villain in all of Miracle City. From her lair in the abandoned prison cemetery, the 200-year old skeleton lady plots to overthrow all living beings and claim Miracle City for herself. She totally despises El Tigre, and all Rivera men for that matter, especially Puma Loco...who just so happens to be her former sweetie. Her source of power is her Golden Guitar of Doom, which allows her to summon countless skeleton minions when she strums it. Perhaps the scariest thing is that she can never truly be destroyed and always finds a way to come back to life. She is the one who gave Manny his scar. First appearance: Zebra Donkey!
- Sergio/Señor Sinestro: A 13-year-old boy who was transferred to Miracle City from Italy. On his first day at Leone Middle School, he foolishly wore his beloved cowboy costume, complete with broomstick horsey. Humiliation, unintentionally led by Manny, ensued and Sergio swore vengeance on Miracle City, especially Manny. Sergio uses a 10 foot tall robot suit to pose as an adult cowboy super villain named Señor Sinestro. First appearance: El Tigre, El Jefe
- Zoe Aves/Black Cuervo: Zoe's family clan is full of super villains called the Flock of Fury. Just like the Riveras all have Feline alter ego's, the Flock of Fury is made up of birdie baddies. By day she's disinterested in life in general, but when night falls she's Black Cuervo, a kick butt, take charge super villain who is much more outgoing and full of life then Zoe, equipped with a laser blaster on her wrist and jet-wings on her back, as well as a sonic device she can use to send out a distress call similar to the cry of a bird of prey to signal her family for help. Zoe has an evil mom named Voltura and a really evil Grandmami known as Lady Gobbler, which is similar to how Manny has his super powered dad and grandpapi. As both Black Cuervo and Zoe, she is Frida Suarez's nemesis. In her first appearance of the series, El Tigre seems to have developed a crush on her, just as Black Cuervo has developed a crush on him at the end of the episode. Her villain name translates to Black Raven. First appearance: Enter the Cuervo
- Diego/Dr. Chipolte Jr.: Like his father, Dr. Chipolte Sr., 10-year-old Diego aka Dr. Chipolte Jr. is an evil mad scientist with a massive robotic metal arm and a cybernetic right eye. When Diego was just 7, he watched El Tigre and White Pantera put his father in jail and swore he'd get back at them some day. He uses strange weapons such as Zombie Guacamole, which is another thing he has in common with his father, who once robbed a bank using hot peppers mutated into monsters. First appearance: Night of the Living Guacamole
- El Oso: A large, hairy thug with superhuman strength. He spends most of his time causing chaos in Miracle City. His name literally means "the bear" in Spanish. First appearance: Sole of a Hero

[edit] Trivia
- Manny's eyes are brown, but in his superhero form, his eyes turn green.
- Manny also has a scar in his left eye, but it sometimes disappears frame to frame. How Santara of the Dead gave him his scar is currently unknown.
- In the original screening of Enter the Cuervo, when the Cuervo says its nickname the ooph!(what people say when they get hit by her), the closed captions say ohh! the only time they say ooph!, is when Manny first says it.
- According to Cold Hard Flash, the show itself is animated in Adobe Flash.
- In Enter the Cuervo, The storyline is like how Spider-Man met Black Cat.
- Manny never seems to take off his belt, even if he's wearing something else other than his casual clothes. The only exception is in El Tigre El Jefe when Senior Sinestro takes it off of him. This is, of course, because without it he can't transform into El Tigre should danger arise.
- In El Tigre, El Jefe, toward the end of the episode, Remy from Street Fighter III can be seen in the crowd. Plus, Chun-Li and Ryu can be seen in a few scenes of several episodes.
- In some early commercials for El Tigre, it showed Frida with the Atomic Sombreros singing songs about her, Manny, Rodolfo, Grandpapi, and Frida. This is the first (and to date, only) known time for her to sing with her band.
- The source of each Rivera's superpowers is an article of clothing. Puma Loco's come from his Golden Sombrero of Chaos, White Pantera's come from his Bronze Boots of Truth, and El Tigre's come from his belt buckle. Also, each piece of clothing is a type of metallic color. The Golden Sombrero of Chaos is, of course, gold. The Bronze Boots of Truth are, of course bronze. The belt buckle is silver.
- El Tigre, El Oso, and Puma Loco are the only characters who have their full names in Spanish.
- Manny and Frida are based on the creators when they were children.
- Manny Rivera is close to the name of Manny Ribera, a character in Scarface.
- Frida Suarez is close to the name of Omar Suarez, a character in Scarface.
- There has been a running gag in the tittle cards, with one character standing closer to the image, showing only it's feet and legs, while the other stands far in the background. So far, this is seen in Sole of a Hero, Fistful of Collars, and The Mother of all Tigres.
