Elicoor

Elicoor II is a fictional planet in the Star Ocean universe, the second planet from its star in the Elicoor system. It is the primary setting of the third game in the series, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Its atmosphere is mostly composed of neon and other noble gasses, giving it an atmospheric composition similar to that of Earth. Elicoor II has an axial tilt of 32.6 degrees, is 0.8 AUs from its parent star, and has a surface gravity of 0.9 g. The planet's technology level is equivalent to that of 17th century Earth. Elicoor II is registered as an underdeveloped planet, but since its people are in a constant state of war no total population figures are available.
Elicoor II consists of two main continents: Gaitt and Greeton. There are four major countries located on the planet: Airyglyph, Aquaria, and Sanmite on Gaitt, with Greeton on its own self-titled continent.
The Kingdom of Airyglyph is located in the southern region of Gaitt; it has two significant cities: Airyglyph, which serves as the royal and administrative capital, and Kirlsa, a mining center. Airyglyph is the military superpower on Elicoor II, and its sizeable army consists of the Black, Storm, and Dragon Brigades. An enduring state of war exists between Airyglyph and its neighbor to the north, Aquaria. The Sacred Kingdom of Aquaria is located in the northern region of Gaitt and consists of three important cities: the border town of Arias, the trading center of Peterny, and the administrative seat of Aquios. The Church of Apris was born in Aquaria, only to be forcibly driven out of Airyglyph during the war.
