Elvis (comic)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Elvis is a comic strip created in 2000 by Tony Cronstam for the free newspaper Metro in Sweden.
Elvis is a man, aged perhaps about 35, who is illustrated as a tortoise (much as the contemporary Swedish comic strip character Rocky is shown as a dog). He lives in a rented apartment in an un-named Swedish city and works as a psychologist. His main hobby is playing Xbox (later changed into Xbox 360, and hinted to get a Wii).
The other principal character is his wife, Hedvig, also shown as a tortoise. Many other characters in the strip are illustrated as animals, but some are shown as humans, and their cat, Sonny, is shown as a cat.
Unusually for a Swedish comic, sometimes some of the background details are written in English, for example notes on a fridge door.
it feature pesimistic humour and the main jokes is often about elvis whining about boring or hard things.
