ENMAX Corporation is a privately held corporation that provides utility services to the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. ENMAX was founded in 1904 as The City of Calgary Electric System and began operations on December 2, 1905.
The City of Calgary Electric System was renamed ENMAX Corporation on January 1, 1998. At the same time, an affiliate company named ENMAX Energy was incorporated.
