- Thanks for dropping me a line. I was in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a few years ago, but didn't take many pictures. I'm sure someone will snap one! Gareth Hughes 23:58, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Unblock me
- Try George Macaca Allen (talk • contribs • page moves • Current Autoblocks • block log)--64.12.116.196 01:20, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for the note but I don't understand it, what do you mean "try"? I clicked on the GMA "Current Autoblocks" link and it shows an active autoblock, but why did that affect my username after it was unblocked? (I apologize if that question is gibberish but I don't understand all the mechanics of blocking, autoblocking, and unblocking (and reblocking)). And by the way, who are you? [edit] Lavinia Williams
Thanks for contributing the Lavinia Williams article. I also saw your discussion of additional sources on the article's Talk page. It would be just as easy, and more informative for Wikipedia's readers, to list the references in the article's references section. Just a suggestion.
By the way, an article on the American Negro Ballet would also be welcome. Another surprising omission.
Thanks again.

Finell, thanks for your kind comment regarding Lavinia Williams. Sorry I haven't been around much to reply. You suggested I list the additional citations I found (and mentioned on the article's talk page) under "References" in the article itself. The only thing is, I have no idea if they are real, trustworthy, or accurately transcribed. The citations on the talk page (as opposed to the ones in the articles) are citations I have seen references to online, but where I have not actually seen or heard the books, videos, or audiotapes myself, and could not even find them listed in library catalogs that I checked. I mentioned them on the talk page to give people who wanted to work on the article ideas for places to look, but I didn't want to just blindly propagate them into the article before someone checked up on them. I've been away for awhile, so please forgive my delay in replying to you. It does not look like anyone else is taking up further work on Lavinia Williams, and I am not in a position to do so (I tripped across the article while editing Léon Theremin). So, if you could find some time to expand the article you created, that would be great. Someone else added comments to the Lavinia Williams article, visible only in the edit window, with WP's guidelines for biographical articles. I just added a dance-bio stub tag to the article in the hope of encouraging others to participate.
Any thought of doing an article on the American Negro Ballet?
