Talk:Evan Beloff
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I've cleaned up and wikified this article a bit, as well as documented the sources and reviews of Beloff's work. I've thus taken the liberty to remove the "wikify", "unsourced" and "proposed for deletion" tags. I was a bit confused for the proposed for deletion tag, because the article didn't show up on AfD. Anyway, the reason was non-notability, and now that I've documented the scope of work and referenced multiple reviews, this should meet the WP:BIO standards. On the other hand, as this is an encyclopedia article rather than a detailed resume, I've trimmed it a bit (probably could use some more, if anyone is so inclined). Akradecki 17:16, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Irving Layton claim and overall PR tone
- just one thing: i question the claim that irving layton is "canada's most famous poet". great as layton was, is this true? it sounds like a line from the film promo, and perhaps lacks context or could be toned down. -- Denstat 05:56, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- while layton figures as one of canada's most notable poets, i did some research and have determined he is not the "most famous." i am cutting out the hyperbole. i still think this article's tone could be elevated from PR, but can't adopt the task at this time. -- Denstat 13:49, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
