Talk:Fear of a Black Hat
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- Ice Cold, the main rapper and the intelligent and vulgar backbone of the group. The name is a spoof of reallife rapper Ice Cube
- Tasty Taste, the ultra-violent secondary rapper who features an array of weaponry that would even make the NRA blush. The name is a spoof of reallife rapper Easy-E
- Tone-Def, the esoteric DJ, the only DJ who can scratch with his butt and with his private parts!
I think it's good to talk about the members of NWH, but I'm not so sure about what you say about the origin of the names. I always thought the name Tasty Taste was a take off of Flava Flave. If Taste T has an analogue in N.W.A, though it would have to be easy E.

- None of the three main characters are direct parodies of any one person imparticular, rather they parody different aspects and actions of various rappers and rap groups just like Spinal Tap did/does. --The_stuart 14:54, 28 July 2005 (UTC)
Am I the only one who thinks "Guerillas in the Midst" sounds like a Paris parody? Zerologic 05:10, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

Re: "White Cops on Dope": How can the Tubes' "White Punks on Dope" be a parody of Crass' "White Punks on Hope", when the Tubes released their version in 1975, and Crass didn't even form until 1977? This is wrong, wrong wrong. Invalidname 11:44, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
