Ferashas

Ferasha, is the name given to the family of Ali or Aziz Yamani. He was a Yemenese merchant who resided in Yathrid, present day Madina. His exact name is not known. He was responsible for the preparation of Muhammad's seating area during meetings and prayers. Feresh, in Persian means ground.
Later on his family traveled to Iran, Afghanistan, and present day Pakistan. The name Ferasha formed into Paracha. Today Paracha is a prominent tribe/family in Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.
