Should it be mentioned that flan and soulflayers (mindflayers) in FFXI have a backstory to them? (Semi-spoiler: They're failed blue mages or something.) I say "semi" because this information was on the History of Blue Mage thing on the POL site. Why are Facers here? I can't remember them appearing in anything other than XII, and if they did and I just forgot, could someone add them? If they didn't, well I thought this bestiary is just for recurring and/or significant enemies/monsters in FFs, not every single adversary ever. --Jopasopa 22:33, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- There is already a precedence for not only creatures that appear in only one game, but are also insignificant and they aren't even adversaries: Papaopamus, Shoopuf, and maybe a couple others that I can't think of right now. --Daedalus 21:12, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
