Fiona Forbes

Fiona Forbes is a Canadian television personality who is currently hosting the entertainment talk show Urban Rush on Shaw Cable in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Forbes received a degree in History from the University of British Columbia and had planned to go to Law School. Instead, on a whim she enrolled in the Journalism Program at The British Columbia Institute of Technology. Before graduating from the program, Fiona got her first job as a TV Host on Rogers Television's The Magazine Show and hasn't looked back.
Forbes has been working in front of the camera for over ten years. She has won numerous awards for her TV hosting duties including a number of Leo Awards and Reader's Choice Awards from The Georgia Straight. She has hosted a variety of programs including Daytime, Automotive Morning on Life Network, Breakfast Television on City-TV Vancouver and is currently host, writer and producer of the entertainment talk show Urban Rush in Vancouver, British Columbia. In the course of her career as a TV host, Forbes has conducted well over 10,000 interviews.
Fiona also does extensive work as a Master of Ceremonies for charitable and corporate events as well as high profile award shows, including the Leo Awards, which celebrates excellence in British Columbia Film & Television. She is also an Honorary Member of The Odd Squad who's mission is to educate the public about issues affecting the community.
