Flexibility is a vast subject, and really deserves to be in Wikipedia. Unfortunately I don't have time myself to dive into such a complex subject at this time, so i've requested expansion. Everything can be found in Brad Appleton's work, which is put as a reference for the definition of flexibility. ---Marcus- 15:45, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- Yes this article does deserve much more attention! I've had it on my mind for awhile. I'll try to get around to working on this. That reference you give, ya, I remember reading that about a couple years ago. It basically says all you'd need to know about flexibility, but this article needs like a more summed up version. Anyways, I'm fairly knowledgeable about this subject so like I said, I'll try to get around to working on this. Jamesters 09:21, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

- Why did you do that? This page will never be longer than a dictionary definition. I don't see how you can say much more without stating what is flexible (a solid material, a muscle, a procedure, etc.) That's why I created a disambiguation page if one needs a definition or overview, and left the entry without a clarifier for the meaning that is by far the most common one (most of pages that link here are anatomical). - Okay, I'll give this arrangement a try. As of today, there are 46 pages that link to here, and although 23 of them relate to human muscles, each of the other pages that link here relates to a different field. So, a main article such as this would probably work better than a disambiguation page. Flexibility (anatomy) will be mentioned and have its own page, and other aspects can break off into their own articles if they get large enough. GUllman 03:01, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

People keep spamming this article, teasing that it has remained a definition/stub for so long. There is demand for an article on 'flexibility', which is a simple and common term in several fields, but everything you can say about flexibility is already covered in other articles on 'strain', 'deformation', 'elasticity', 'plasticity', 'ductility', 'malleability', 'contortion', 'range of motion' and 'stretching'. Therefore, I am expanding upon the definitions of these terms in order to lead people to useful information. GUllman 23:54, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
