Category:Flora by region
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This category is subcategorized with six floristic Kingdoms (after Good, R. 1947): Paleotropical (or Palaeotropical), Neotropical, Holarctic (or Boreal), Australia (or Australasian), Cape (South Africa, see Fynbos) and Antarctic.
The key factor for delimitation of the floristic areas is the vegetation, although other factors are also important: climate, relief, latitude, pluviometric regimen and endemisms rate.
