Flyjet is a charter airline based at London Luton Airport, United Kingdom which was bought out by new airline Silverjet in October 2006. [1]
The airline operates services to Mediterranean holiday destinations such as Spain, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Canary Islands and Africa, India and the Middle East. Its main bases are Manchester International Airport, and Newcastle Airport.
The company holds a United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority Type A Operating Licence, and is permitted to carry passengers, cargo and mail on aircraft with 20 or more seats. [2]

The airline was established in 2002 and started operations in June 2003. It was owned by Mike Hawkins (49.9%) and Shaun Dewey (49.9%).
