[edit] Tiamat's Gender
Under, Tiamat, it says "the Tiamat from the Final Fantasy series appears to be male." However, FFXI's Tiamat is clearly female. A Vana'diel Tribune (the game's newspaper which was cancelled in February 2006) article says "Tiamat still prowled her territory but was no longer close to where I lay."[1] (It's under "Aly's Escapade" and is in the second-to-last paragraph.) Also, I don't recall any moment of any FF where Tiamat is referred to anything other than she/it. Maybe I don't remember, but Tiamat is not always male.
