Francis Jue

Francis Jue is an American actor and singer born September 29, 1963. Jue is known for his performances on Broadway and in regional theatre.

Jue was born in in San Francisco, California. He received his B.A. degree at Yale University.
Jue has appeared on Broadway in Pacific Overtures as the Dutch Admiral and Madam (2004-05), in Thoroughly Modern Millie (play), creating the role of Bun Foo (2002-04), and in M. Butterfly as the title character, Song Liling (1988-90, as understudy in the original Broadway production, and also appearing as and as Comrade Chin occasionally).
Jue's Off-Broadway credits inclued The Winter's Tale, Dream True, Timon of Athens, King Lear, Oscar in A Language of Their Own (2005). He has also appeared widely in regional theatre with Paper Mill Playhouse and North Shore Music Theatre, and at Theatreworks, Magic Theatre, and Asian American Theatre Co. in San Francisco in such productions as Red, Floyd Collins, As Bees in Honey Drown, Amadeus, A Midsummer Night's Dream, M Butterfly, Cabaret (Bay Area Critics Circle Award), Kiss of the Spider Woman (Drama-Logue Award), The King and I.
Jue's television credits include Law and Order: SVU, Talk to Me, Nikki, Puppet, Love & Mertz, and One Life to Live.
