Francis Kibiwott (born in Kasiela Baringo) is a Kenyan long-distance runner. He won the Dam tot Damloop held between Amsterdam and Zaandam twice and finished in second position in between those two wins. His time (45:27) during his second win was the world fastest time in a 10 mile race that year, outsprinting the world half marathon champion Fabian Joseph.[1] The race was his first after a long period of injuries and only started training in July 2006 again.[1] In 2006 he also managed to win the Delhi Half Marathon in a new course record.[2]
