Francisco Vallejo Pons

Francisco Vallejo Pons (born August 21, 1982 in Es Castell, Menorca) is a chess Grandmaster from Spain. As of January 2007, he was rated 2679 on the FIDE list making him the 29th best player in the world. On February 25, 2006, he defeated FIDE World Champion Veselin Topalov in 56 moves with the black pieces at the SuperGM Linares-Morelia chess tournament. [1]
