Fred Beebe

Frederick Leonard Beebe (December 31, 1880 - October 30, 1957) was a professional baseball player.
Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, Beebe played baseball for the Hyde Park High School in Chicago, Illinois and the University of Illinois. He played Major League Baseball from 1906 to 1916. In his rookie year, Beebe led the major league's with 171 strikeouts. He played for the Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies and Cleveland Indians. His career record was 62-83.
He died in Elgin, Illinois.
