Friends of God: A Road Trip With Alexandra Pelosi is a documentary about evangelicals in the United States. The documentary first aired on January 25, 2007 on HBO.
Lisa Heller was supervising producer and Sheila Nevins was executive producer.
In this documentary Alexandra Pelosi visits several of the largest evangelical Christian organizations (often referred to as "megachurches") and interviews their leaders and members. The documentary centers around the relationship between Christian evangelical churches and political activism. It attempts to demonstrate how these organizations shape modern politics in regards to issues that include, but are not limited to, gay rights, abortion, and evolution vs. creationism.
