Maybe Wikipedia isn't the place to ask this, but I watched The Longest Summer last year. I didn't get the ending. What really happened at the end? Could someone enlighten? Mandel 22:12, Jan 2, 2005 (UTC)
- It's meant to symbolic for the changing (at the time) face of Hong Kong during the 1997 handover. Before the handover, they were friends and knew each other well, and then after the handover it's like passing a stranger on the street in an entirely new Hong Kong. Removed category for "Chinese film director". Technically he's a Hong Kong director and since there's already a category for Hong Kong film directors, I removed the cat. for Chinese film directors.
