Gablias (ガブリアス Gaburiasu?, Gablias in original Japanese language versions) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri.
Its name comes from gaburito (がぶりと?), an adverb meaning "enthusiastically" used in conjunction with functions of the mouth and teeth such as biting and chewing.

Biological characteristics
Gablias is a shark-like dragon, which is evolved from Gabite. The star on its snout is very similar to the star on Sharpedo's back. It is large in appearance, with a large fin on its back and a long tail. Its hands are just claws. Two fins are attached along Gablias' arms from its elbows to its wrists. Gablias has spikes on its arms and on its legs. It has two jet-like helmets beside its head resembling that of a hammerhead shark, and its chest is red. The female version of Gablias has a full big fin on its back, with the male version having a piece missing.
In the video games
Gablias is the evolved form of Gabite.
Gablias is a very powerful Pokémon due to its impressive stats and semi-unique typing (shared only by Vibrava, Flygon, Fukamaru, and Gabite).
Gablias is the fourth-generation counterpart to Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence and Metagross, because of its high base stats, its slow growth rates and high evolution levels. It shares with Dragonite, Salamence and Flygon a heavy weakness to Ice-type attacks. It has a similar stat build to the latter, but with higher Attack and Speed, making it the superior choice as a physical sweeper. Its ability, Sand Veil, raises its evasiveness in a Sandstorm, making a strategy built around having a sandstorm during battle very effective.
